Message for the Feast of the Sacred Heart
Dear Sisters, dear Associates, Partners and Friends of the Congregation,
It is in the context of the health crisis that for more than two weeks,
we have been preparing to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart.
However, we recognize how this pandemic has allowed us to live
in communion, in solidarity with one another and with the whole Church.
It is in that same spirit, also with gratitude,
Our Founders have focused their lives on contemplating the Heart of Jesus. In their example, today and more than ever, we are invited to “keep our interior eyes continually attentive to consider or contemplate the infinite riches,
the immense treasures of this Open Heart, the ardent furnace of divine Love.”
May the Open Heart, Source of Contemplation, — of life, get us
the graces of a gentle and humble
heart, patient, loving!
Again, Happy Feast Day!
We entrust to your prayers Lucia Tohlang from Lesotho who will profess her first vows in the Congregation, as well as the Associates who will renew their commitment on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Let us redouble our prayer effort for the countries where the Covid-19 continues to cause casualties.
We think especially of the countries where our Sisters and Associates are missioned.
