Our founders centered their lives on the person of Christ.  Their attachment to the Lord manifests itself by fidelity to the Father’s work and by an ever present desire to promote God’s glory, to radiate His holiness and His Love.

Rule of Life 1.1

Corresponding to this love, means to put on the sentiments of Jesus Christ, it is conforming to Him.  Through Him, we go to the Father, in Him we love our brothers and sisters.

Through total adherence

to Jesus Christ,

reveal that He is living.

By the cordiality and simplicity

of our relationships with others,

witness that He is near.

By our willingness to respond

to the needs of others,

announce that His love is universal!

Chapter 1977, p. 7-9

En Faithful to this first orientation of the Congregation

“to serve Christ in the person of the poor and neighbor in general and excluding no one from our fraternal charity, we give particular attention to the weak, the lowly, and the destitute.”

Rule of Life 1.7

The prayer that Jesus addresses to his Father before leaving his disciples is significant: the community of those whom he has chosen and consecrated, he does not ask that it be taken from the world. But it gives it the function of being, among men and women, the manifestation of the Kingdom already present and still to come.
