An engagement for life
Hence, obedience, chastity and poverty vowed to God because of Christ aims at conforming us to the filial attitude of Jesus towards His Father.
This attitude aims to realize in an ever increasing love, that we find in the Heat of Jesus: His perfect submission to the orders and the disposition of Providence… his purity without stain, his absolute detachment to all the goods of this earth.
Necessary conditions to enable in us a love always effective, these interior dispositions favor within us a gratuitous love.

The attitude of Jesus

Look with the gaze of God
A life offered to God: that is the sense of our engagement in the Congregation.
It is true, that each vow comprises, for all of one’s life, a part of renunciation. But this renunciation helps us to look at ourselves with the gaze of God.
In His love, God sees us as beloved daughters who already have a part in the Kingdom where God is all to all.

A profound conversion
The vows imply a profound conversion of fundamental attitudes of our being.
The profession of obedience, chastity and poverty engage us radically and definitely in the following of Christ.
The divine gift of charity is a power able to open the heart, to free it of the multiple faces of selfishness, to recover our deep tendencies and to transform them into the image of Christ, in spite of our limits, of our faults and our weaknesses.
